I am Saskia Malwina Eisermann, a multidisciplinary artist working across mixed media, painting, and alcohol inks. My practice explores the emotional and symbolic relationship between nature, memory, and movement, often using limited colour palettes to evoke atmosphere, energy, and feeling.

My creative journey has been shaped by a nomadic upbringing between urban Sydney and rural New South Wales, as well as time spent living in wilderness landscapes such as the Canadian Rockies and Southern Tasmania. These experiences have given me a deep, ongoing connection to the natural world, where animals, shifting landscapes, and fleeting moments of beauty continue to inform my work.

I work between semi-realistic imagery and abstraction, allowing lived experience and emotional landscapes to merge within my visual language.

I hold a Bachelor of Visual Arts and Design and an Advanced Diploma in Creative Arts and Health, supported by awards, grants, and a scholarship that have helped shape my practice. I also work as an art educator, facilitating workshops across community, corporate, and therapeutic settings.

At the core of my work is a belief in art as a space for expression, reflection, and healing a way of connecting to both the natural world and inner experience.
